Stratified Layer Technology (SLT) combines a dual-layer lug design, with a multi-angle base layer underneath a stable upper layer—engineered to support the structure of the lug throughout its service life. This layered construction creates a distinct step—approximately 40% down the lug depth—which introduces additional biting edges for traction as the tire engages the soil.

At the same time, this structure provides added rigidity, allowing the lug faces to remain more upright and stable under load. As the tire wears, this stability helps maintain consistent spacing between lugs, preserving effective contact area and traction characteristics over time. The result is sustained traction, reliable roadability, and consistent performance throughout the life of the tire.
