Galaxy MFS 101 SDS Highlights 

Unique Tread

The Galaxy MFS 101 SDS features a unique tread pattern—a solid centerline flanked by two zig-zag grooves. That combination provides traction and wear resistance on improved surfaces, as well as enhanced steering and cornering.

To the outside of the grooves, deep shoulder blocks with z-shaped sipes add traction and absorb shocks.

Beneath the tread runs a strong central tie-bar to stabilize lugs and minimize heat.

Horizontal and Vertical

The contact patch of the Galaxy MFS 101 SDS is flat and wide, boosting traction and ensuring that wear is slow and even. The large footprint also enhances stability for more secure lifting and cornering.

The squared-off, vertical sidewalls of the MFS 101 also contribute to stability and strength.

 

Special, Deep Compound

The Galaxy MFS 101 SDS features three-stage construction—three distinct components to optimize tire life and performance.

The tread and sidewall compound is specially formulated to resist wear and minimize heat build-up. The MFS 101 SDS features deeper tread compound than competitors' tires, putting more rubber above the 60J line. So not only is the compound more wear-resistant than ever...there's also more of it.

The base layer of the MFS 101 SDS is formulated and constructed to minimize slip, efficiently transfer load to the wheel, and conduct engine torque to the ground. Inside that base layer is a series of steel bead bundles that ensure a steady grip on the rim.

Between the base and the tread layers is a specially formulated cushion core, which minimizes vibration, absorbs shocks and jolts, and reduces heat build-up for longer tire life.

The Galaxy MFS 101 SDS is available in 28 sizes, for rims ranging from 8 to 15 inches in diameter. It is suited for a wide range of surfaces, from slick metal or polished concrete warehouse floors to pavement, blocks or asphalt—even in the hot sun at railyards and port facilities.
